SyncPilot is currently in beta testing until February 18, 2026. During beta, we're offering enhanced free tier limits and free scheduled syncs to all users. This allows us to gather feedback and improve the service before the official launch.

Beta Features:

  • 30 sync credits (3x the standard free tier)
  • 10GB mailbox size limit (2x the standard free tier)
  • 4 saved server profiles (2x the standard free tier)
  • Free scheduled syncs for everyone
  • Email notifications enabled

Note: Paid plans and add-ons will be available after beta ends. Always maintain backups of your email data before performing migrations.

SyncPilot works with any email provider that supports IMAP, including Gmail, Outlook.com, Yahoo Mail, iCloud Mail, ProtonMail, FastMail, and custom IMAP servers. If your email service provides IMAP access, SyncPilot can migrate it. During beta, we're actively testing with various providers to ensure compatibility.

Yes, absolutely. All connections to your email servers use SSL/TLS encryption. Your credentials are stored securely and encrypted in our database using industry-standard encryption. We never store your emails on our servers - they are transferred directly from source to destination. Even during beta, security is our top priority.

Migration time depends on the number of emails, their sizes, and network speed. A typical mailbox with a few thousand emails takes 10-30 minutes. Larger mailboxes (10GB+) may take several hours. You can monitor progress in real-time with detailed logs and statistics. The process runs in the background, so you can close your browser and check back later.

SyncPilot intelligently handles interrupted migrations. If a sync is stopped (due to network issues, server downtime, or manual cancellation), you can simply run it again. The system will automatically skip emails that were already transferred, only syncing what's new or missing. This makes the process safe and efficient, even if you need to restart multiple times.

No, by default SyncPilot copies your emails, leaving the originals intact on the source server. This is the safest approach and recommended for beta testing. However, there is an optional "Delete messages" feature if you want to move emails instead of copying them. This option requires explicit confirmation and should be used with caution, especially during beta.

Yes! Scheduled syncs are free for everyone during beta. You can create unlimited scheduled syncs to automatically keep your mailboxes in sync on a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule. After beta ends (February 18, 2026), scheduled syncs will require a subscription. All scheduled syncs created during beta will continue to work, but you may need to subscribe to create new ones after beta ends.

After beta ends on February 18, 2026, SyncPilot will transition to production mode:

  • Free tier limits will return to standard levels (10 sync credits, 5GB mailbox, 2 saved servers)
  • Paid plans (Basic, Advanced, Premium) will become available
  • Scheduled syncs will require a subscription (existing scheduled syncs may be grandfathered)
  • Add-ons for additional sync credits will be available

We'll notify all beta users before the transition with clear information about any changes to your account or limits.

No, SyncPilot is completely free during beta. All features, including enhanced free tier limits and scheduled syncs, are available at no cost. After beta ends, we'll introduce paid plans for users who need more sync credits, larger mailbox sizes, or additional features. The free tier will remain available with standard limits.
